So apparently, I’m still known for “Ktown Cowboys” (no joke, LA 18 asked me about it on CAPE’s red carpet this past Monday lol).
Anyway, here’s the teaser for the highly anticipated Ktown Cowboys the movie, not to be confused with the web series. Same writer, same director, same primary cast, different story. Looks like it’ll be a lot of fun.
Joining the fun are the likes of Ken Jeong, Daniel Dae Kim, and Steve Byrne. And no, I’m not in this one, but you can spot me for a few seconds in the web series.
The guys who brought you “Ktown Cowboys” the web series are bringing you KTOWN COWBOYS THE MOVIE. But first they need to raise some funds. Check out their Kickstarter page and find out how you can help.
Finally. The REAL last episode is now online! This was actually my first time seeing it since it wasn’t a part of the feature-length version that screened at the LA Asian Pacific Film Fest a few months ago. For those who need to catch up or get a refresher, watch the whole series here. Anyway, check it out~ I thought it was a nice way to end the series.
Alright, I’m gonna throw in a little bit of criticism here… I’m starting to think this was a lot better watching it as a feature. Things are still only just warming up. So far I can’t say these have been very strong stand alone pieces and seems like the biggest complaint is that they’re too short (though they are all over 6 minutes, which IMO is too long for YouTube). With that said, if we were comparing this to watching a TV show once a week vs. renting the entire season on DVD, I’d prob just wait for all webisodes to drop so that I could watch them back to back. By no means does this mean it sucks… it’s GREAT as a whole, so keep watching! :]
Btw, if you’re in the LA area, you can actually see the feature length version on June 8th at the brand new CGV Theaters in K-town!
