Funk & Holly

Next Wednesday night, I’m hosting “a very musical Christmas celebration” featuring DW3. They’ll be celebrating the debut of their Christmas single, “Christmas Dream,” as heard on 94.7 The Wave and will be joined by several musician friends: Tyra Juliette, Jayda Jeon, Ben Clement, Tanya Thomas, Jacob Clemente, Dani Nicole, and Maha Hanza.

This is all going down at 8PM at HIWA Fusion Restaurant & Bar in Cerritos.
11421 South Street, Cerritos, CA 90703

If you’re in the area, come on out and hang before I head home for the holidays! Should be a very chill night of music, drink, and food!

KoreAm’s Unforgettable After Party

It’s that time of year again where KoreAm Journal puts on a big gala to celebrate Korean American achievements. Unfortunately, the gala is sold out (I heard it’s Jay Park’s fault), but you can still get into the after party if you feel like possibly mingling/dancing with the likes of Amerie, Hines Ward, Sung Kang, Brian Tee, Leonardo Nam, Jay Park, Dia Frampton, etc. Here’s a lil’ blurb from KoreAm:

This year you can munch on delicious Korean-Mexican fusion tacos from the KOGI BBQ TRUCK, dance the night away to music provided by DJ A-LIST & DJ DO-FUNK, enjoy an OPEN BAR featuring HITE BEER and JINRO SOJU cocktails–all while partying with celebrities and VIP guests at the legendary Park Plaza Hotel.

Date: Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011
Time: 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (immediately following the Unforgettable gala)
Venue: Park Plaza Hotel
607 S. Park View Street
Los Angeles, CA 90057
Price: $40

Dress code: Dress to impress, no jeans, no sneakers.

Sorry kids, this is a 21 and over event.
