I’m looking forward to this.

Join the Jubilee Project as they premiere their film, “Dear Daniel,” for the first time on the big screen at CGV Cinemas in Los Angeles!

As part of their “Doing Good is Contagious tour,” the Jubilee Project has been going across the country screening their film and empowering young people to take action and make a difference in their own communities.

The film is a coming of age story about a college student who’s trying to pursue his dreams. They will also be showing a new short film about sex trafficking featuring singer/songwriter Megan Lee, and will have a Q&A session with Megan on stage afterwards.

Come join in and be a part of the movement that is quickly gaining the support of thousands everywhere!

RIP, Steve Jobs

If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be where I am (a lot of us wouldn’t!) and people wouldn’t have known about my hometown! You will always be remembered.

Aziatix rockin’ out, New Heights + Clara C killin’ it.

Up, up, here we go!

Youcef Nadarkhani

The clock is ticking and an innocent man’s life is on the line.

For those who do not know, Youcef Nadarkhani faces execution for his Christian faith in Iran. If the Iranian Government follows through with this, they will be breaking the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which allows for freedom of religion. What would you do if someone you knew was in this position?

One thing you can do right now is send a simple email to the Iranian embassy to contest for Youcef Nadarkhani.

This was my email:

Your Excellency, the Ambassador of Iran,

Thank you for taking the time to read this appeal. I am writing in regards to Youcef Nadarkhani’s case. It is my hope that the Iranian judiciary would uphold the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights by releasing Youcef Nadarkhani from the current charges against him.

Ambassador, I urge you to consider this matter and to pass this appeal on to your Government.

Sincerely with the utmost respect,

Grace Su

Please take a moment to email now. And do pray and do share with others. For more insight into this situation, please read Pastor Eugene Cho’s blog or this article from The Washington Post.

Audrey’s Recap

Sooo, what did I end up wearing to Audrey’s Fashion Night Out? A gold-sequined dress from Michael Kors which Ashley Choi (#FF @ashleychoi) picked out for me! On top of styling, Ashley did my hair and makeup, too :]

Anyway, I didn’t capture any video from the night, but here’s one from Pacific Rim Video Press. It’ll give you a good idea of the event:

And to be honest, I actually missed half of the fashion show… cuz’ I was busy making friends by the food (you can usually find me close to food at any event haha). So I didn’t get to see Kaba Modern or Blush… I was definitely distracted by an incredible carrot cake and other delectable goods provided by Vanilla Bean Bakery. Haha. I’m a foodie, not a fashionista. Other than that, I had a good time catching up with friends. Mucho thanks to Audrey for inviting me out! :]

Giveaway: 2 Tickets to Audrey’s Fashion Night Out 2011

The good people at Audrey Magazine have not only allowed for me to hook it up with a 20% discount to Audrey’s Fashion Night Out 2011 (coupon code: PEACHIES), but they’ve also given me a pair of General Admission tickets ($100 value) to give to whomever I please! Well, you have to be over 21 years old and be able to make it to the event in Los Angeles to qualify. Sooo… let’s make this fun!

HELP ME WITH MY OUTFIT FOR THE EVENING!

Last year, I wore black (pictured on the very right). This year, I want to try to go outside of my comfort zone. BUT it must be something that I’ll be able to pick up at a local retailer, budget-friendly cuz’ I ain’t a baller here, and red carpet ready! I have NO fashion sense and I REALLY need help! Lol. So send me a link to a dress/outfit online or email/tweet me a photo and tell me where I can buy the outfit! If I don’t actually like any of the choices, I’ll pick the funniest one! Let’s do this by Sunday, September 11th. And maybe I’ll see you at the event? *cheers*
